Grant Description
On October 25, 2018, Yunnan Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries granted Sitagu Shwe Pyi Hein Eye Hospital in Yangon MMK 8 million (over USD 5,000) in cash assistance.
Alongside the grant, the Association also donated medical equipment worth MMK 45 million (roughly USD 29,000) to the hospital (captured in Record ID #68432).
Additionally, on the same day, a medical team from Kunming Medical University, with sponsorship from Yunnan Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, provided free cataract surgeries for patients in Myanmar as part of the Bright Journey Campaign (captured in Record ID #64226)

Although CPAFFC’s charter identifies it as an NGO, the provincial branches of the organization are set within the provincial governments.
