Grant Description

On June 5, 2001, the Colombian Ambassador to China, on behalf of the Colombian Government, countersigned Letters of Exchange from the Chinese government that provided 10 million RMB for various projects.

The funds were subsequently used to fund the visit of a technical cooperation mission to Valledupar to assist with bamboo cultivation for 1.9 million RMB (see Record ID#86184), as well as musical instruments and computer equipment for 3.1 million RMB (see Record ID#86183). However, 5 million RMB of the grant remains unaccounted for.
