Grant Description

Civic Education: Funding will support a comprehensive civic education program that operates in both entities and whose goal is to help educate young Bosnians about the basic concepts of democratic society, human rights and tolerance.

This funding will support civic education during official pre-service teacher education nationwide and will be used for designing and disseminating a system of continuous in-service teacher professional development in civic education.

Special programming will support homestay-based intercultural exchanges of students and teachers from different ethnic and religious backgrounds as well as interethnic cooperative projects in the field of civic education implemented through local school systems.
