Grant Description

Civic Education: Funding will support Civitas, a comprehensive civic education program that operates in both entities and whose goal is to help educate young Bosnians about the basic concepts of democratic society and to develop tolerance.

This funding will support civic education during official pre-service teacher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina and will be used for designing and disseminating a system of continuous in-service teacher professional development in civic education.

Special programming will be developed for home stay-based intercultural exchanges of students and teachers from different ethnic and religious backgrounds.
