Grant Description

The Legislative Fellows Program is an internship program for alumni of the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program.

Participants in the program spend four to six weeks in U.S. state legislatures, where they experience the day-to-day work of U.S. legislative bodies and expand their knowledge of the legislative process.

The funding requested will support a follow-on program, which includes an online congress that allows participants to take part in simulated legislative activities.

Participants will also give presentations about legislation and civic participation to their peers and to local and regional leaders.
