Grant Description

Membership in NATO and the European Union are the Government of Montenegro's (GOM) leading foreign policy goals, and supporting these efforts is an important objective for the U.S. Government. While the GOM is undertaking the reforms necessary for membership, the public is ill-informed on the issue.

These funds will support a healthy, open, and well informed debate in the public sphere on what NATO is, what the requirements and responsibilities of membership are, and what the benefits for Montenegro would be.
