Grant Description

Through English language education, the next generation of Georgias leaders will be exposed to Western democratic values.

This program will expose Georgian youth to broader sources of information and education and thereby replace vestiges of Soviet mentality with a Western orientation; will enhance the development of civic responsibility and participation; will encourage civic integration; and will provide marketable skills to Georgian youth.

At the same time, this program will enhance language teaching capabilities and improve the skills and knowledge base for English teachers.
