SSI - Int'l Summer School for Democracy: Role of Islam in the U.S.: PD Belgrade believes that the participants will greatly benefit from lectures and presentations on Islam in the U.S. delivered by an American lecturer.

Resolving the important transitional issues in the Balkan region, such as reconciliation, enhancement of tolerance, multi-ethnicity and multiculturalism, is crucial for the democracy-building process and development of these transitional countries.
