Grant Description

On October 14 and 21, 2002, the Chinese Government and the Government of Bolivia signed an exchange of letters in which the Chinese Government committed to providing a grant of waste removal and treatment equipment and dam construction equipment to Bolivia.

The equipment was shipped in two batches; the second batch was handed over on December 14, 2004, with the governor of the Pando Department signing the handover certificate. The monetary value of this grant is unknown.
