Grant Description

On December 18, 2017, Macedonia’s Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs Bujar Osmani and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Macedonia Yin Lixian signed an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA), which commitment RMB 20 million (2.5 million EUR) of grant funding for renovation of schools (#91344) Also included are the project for strengthening the capacities of health and social protection services in the Republic (#90376) as well as the "Improving the quality of scientific research of the academic staff and advancing education in the field of molecular biology as a result of the donation of equipment for the Laboratory of Molecular Biology project as a by the Faculty of Mathematics at the University St.

Cyril and Methodius (#90377).

Although official sources indicate a grant of 20 million RMB was provided to fund these projects, the amount of money provided for the projects exceeds the agreed-upon 20 million grant. Therefore, Aiddata currently does not code the transaction value as 20 million RMB (see Project IDs #90376 and #90377 for individual transaction amounts).
