Grant Description

On March 22, 2001, the All-China Women's Federation donated sewing machines and other equipment to the Development of Women Organization of Kenya.

Chinese Ambassador to Kenya Du Qiwen, on behalf of the All-China Women's Federation, presented the donations to Zipporah Kittony, chairman of the Kenyan women organization.

The donation includes 100 sewing machines, 100 bicycles, 10 grain grinders, and children's articles such as footballs and plush toys, worth more than 30,000 U.S. dollars.
