The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) will continue to strengthen the criminal justice capacity of governments and other key stakeholders through the delivery of anti-trafficking training and technical assistance.
This program may assist countries in all regions of the world including special notification countries by developing and/or strengthening national strategies against human trafficking, bringing national legal frameworks in-line with international standards, or developing the capacities of criminal justice practitioners and other key stakeholders through delivery of national, regional, and multi-regional training workshops, mentoring services, and expert group meetings, based on targeted needs assessments.
Within the context of this project, UNODC will also continue to strengthen efforts to tackle links between human trafficking and money laundering, as well as address trafficking within the context of transnational organized crime.
