Grant Description

The Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Office maintains a cooperative agreement with International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the purpose of providing short- to medium-term direct assistance to victims of human trafficking on an emergency, case-by-case basis.

All assistance is provided in close coordination with the TIP Office, NGO partners, and local IOM missions, where applicable.

Assistance may include, but is not limited to: food, shelter, and other basic necessities; psychological and counseling services; medical assistance; legal support; arrival and reintegration assistance; transportation; or other immediate needs. Assistance may be provided to special notification countries.
