Youth Career Initiative: Integrating Trafficking Survivors

Continuation funding will allow IBLF to build upon and expand its existing J/TIP funded pilot program by integrating trafficking survivors into the Youth Career Initiative (YCI) program in three new countries (TBD) as well as strengthen the existing pilot programs in Mexico and Vietnam.

YCI is a six-month education program that provides at-risk youth with life-skills and vocational training through a combination of classroom-based training and practical instruction in coordination with leading hotels.

The program is designed to be delivered as part of the regular, day-to-day operations of a full-service hotel because it is built on the back of existing training and development courses the hotels regularly offer to their staff.
