Grant Description

The project will promote a better understanding of the features of transnational and internal trafficking in Tunisia through a comprehensive mapping exercise; enhance capacities and skills of national government officials as well as civil society in the identification and treatment of victims of trafficking and awareness raising and outreach activities; set up a referral mechanism and information exchange network for the provision of direct assistance services to victims of trafficking or those determined to be potential victims of trafficking; and provide technical expertise to enhance the Tunisian anti-trafficking legislation and assist the GoT in implementation once the legislation is enacted.
