Grant Description

International Association of Women Judges will partner with the Chapitre Hatien de l'Association Internationale des Femmes Juges/ Haitian Association of Women Judges (CHAIFEJ) to strengthen the capacity of Haitian judges to recognize, conduct and decide cases involving human trafficking, enhance judicial coordination with other agencies, and recommend improvements in judicial procedure and anti-trafficking legislation.

This project will include an analysis of judicial handling of cases with trafficking issues under the current legal framework.
