Grant Description

Winrock will build the capacity of Transnistria NGOs by increasing economic opportunities, legal, and psychological assistance for victims of trafficking and those at risk.

It will also establish Mobile Training Teams and strengthen victim identification, assistance, and referrals by health, education, and law enforcement professionals.

Winrock aims to achieve this by having .Leadership for Trafficking Prevention. trainings, arranging crisis intervention services to include walk-in psychological and crisis consultations, peer support groups, telephone help lines, and referral networks to legal and psychological providers.

Winrock will also create Mobile Training Teams that will conduct monthly trainings and individual consultations in the remote rural areas of Transnistria.

Finally, Winrock will provide targeted specialized trainings to health, educational, judicial, and law enforcement professionals to help identify victims and potential victims.
