Grant Description

This funding will contribute to a larger UN project of which this is Phase III.

The key objective is the direct and measurable impact of governments, UN agencies, and NGOs to utilize the coordinated mechanisms of the Coordinated Mekong Ministerial Initiative Against Trafficking (COMMIT) MOU.

Phase III will focus on the development of a data collection and distribution system to encourage prosecutions of traffickers in the Mekong sub-region.

With G/TIP's share of the funding, UNIAP will financially and technically support 3-4 NGOs who provide services to underserved populations in the Mekong sub-region.
