Grant Description

ICITAP will work in coordination with the USAID-funded ABA Nigeria to train the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Police Unit (NAPTIP) to combat trafficking.

ICITAP will provide technical assistance to the NAPTIP senior officers and investigators on police skills, victim assistance/rescue and identification, as well as evidence collection and police-prosecutorial relationships. OPDAT will provide assistance to ICITAP and the ABA through its Department of State-funded legal advisor on corruption.
