Grant Description

DOJ/OPDAT will conduct programs designed to implement the new anti-trafficking (TIP) laws and to strengthen targeted law enforcement responses to TIP cases, with a particular focus on forced labor. This project will build upon the G/TIP funded spring 2008 OPDAT Intermittent Legal Advisor activities.

This project will focus on comprehensive training and mentoring of prosecutors, judges, law enforcement, and NGOs in four multi-regional workshops on the new legislation incorporating regional representatives from Northern Sumatra, Flores, West Papua, and Bandung.
