Grant Description

Through this project, Save the Children-Fiji (SC) will build resilience of Fiji's communities and institutions by protecting those at-risk through strengthened immigration and border controls and other anti-trafficking policies and legislation.

To accomplish this, SC will advocate for enforcement of existing legislation and policies, as well as make recommendations for new legislation and policies to combat TIP, and develop materials for training of trainers. These materials will address TIP, commercial child sexual exploitation, and children's rights and protection.

The project will include four workshops for target groups including: judges, immigration officers, naval officers, and community and tourism police.

SC will also coordinate information-sharing and develop and update an anti-trafficking website for Fiji's professionals and the general public.
