Grant Description

The Nedan Foundation will build regional collaboration to combat cross-border trafficking in the North East Region of India and its bordering countries, including Bhutan, Burma, and China.

Through this project Nedan will develop Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) for rescue and repatriation of trafficking survivors, provide support services through an income generation program, and build the capacity of the North East Network Forum Against Trafficking.

This will be accomplished by providing consultation workshops focusing on cross-border trafficking and discrimination against victims of trafficking. Draft protocols will be tested and implemented within all participating countries.

Nedan Foundation will host training programs for members of the Forum to discuss and design strategies to strengthen networking and collaboration between other anti-TIP partners.
