Grant Description

The project will contribute to increasing the effectiveness of combating trafficking in persons in Moldova, ensuring and improving the access of victims to necessary protection and assistance.

The project will support the efforts of national authorities to strengthen the institutional and regulatory framework to counteract trafficking in persons of all levels (transnational, national, and local).

La Strada will train and assist local government officials in setting and developing a monitoring mechanism for the assessment and implementation of National Referral Mechanism.

La Strada will also organize professional awareness trainings for multidisciplinary teams engaged in the identification, assistance, and protection of trafficked persons as part of the National Referral System.
