This project will contribute to the strengthening of the Dominican government's capacities and those of civil society organizations, as well as cooperation among agencies that address specific needs in the Prevention of trafficking in persons (TIP).
The project will also help in creating public awareness of the mechanisms for denouncing trafficking and assisting victims in the country, such as hotlines and other information services.
In addition, the project will offer an opportunity for monitoring the functioning of these information mechanisms and reception of complaints.
