Grant Description

This eighth month project will allow for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to conduct an assessment and prepare a report of post-training experience of the .Human Trafficking for Law Enforcement. course graduates.

Since 2003, G/TIP has funded IOM to conduct a customized two-week course on human trafficking for law enforcement officers.

To assess the medium term impact (2-4-years post-training) of this course for the first time, IOM will contact the course .graduates. to gather their "hindsight" perspective on the usefulness of course components and its relevance to their current work.

IOM will reach out to the graduates of the English and Spanish speaking countries, which comprise the majority of the participants.

The purpose G/TIP.s funds will enable IOM to cover the following expenses: develop the survey, translate the survey and the responses, disseminate to and collect the survey from the graduates in Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, and analyze and compile the survey responses in a report.
