Grant Description

IOM will work to create a sustainable link between the media in Afghanistan and the Ministry of Women's Affairs to engage in mass information campaigns to reduce the exposure of women and children to trafficking; training to members of the media and organize a train-the-trainer for staff representing all provincial branches of the Ministry of Women's Affairs.

The Ministry of Women's Affairs officials will report individual cases to law enforcement authorities and refer victims to appropriate agencies for assistance.
