IOM proposes to strengthen the national capacity to counter both internal and cross-border human trafficking through: strengthening the identification and referral system for TIP victims developed by the inter-agency task forces in Sanaa and Aden; supporting the provision of direct assistance for returned Yemeni TIP victims; and training Yemeni law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and judges on investigation and prosecution of trafficking cases, as well as victim identification, referral, and protection.
