Grant Description

ICMPD will assist national institutional members of the Government of Lebanon National Steering Committee (NSC), the agency responsible for anti-trafficking coordination, in the development and implementation of a comprehensive anti-trafficking response that promotes cooperation and effective responses among criminal justice, labor, immigration, and social service agencies to combat trafficking and effectively assist victims of trafficking.

Activities include: action-oriented research evaluating the effectiveness of current Lebanese anti-trafficking programs and policies; production of training manuals on victim identification and referral and development of a national action plan; and training of NSC representatives.
