Grant Description

Human Rights and Democracy Fund - Promotion of Family Code [through NGO - United States Other].

In cooperation with Moroccos Institute Superieur des Magistrats, the countrys premier judicial institute, this project will train a core group of family judges to implement the new Family Code and pass on the training to colleagues.

This project will also include activities to promote the depiction of gender equality in school textbooks, consistent with the new status accorded to women and girls in the Code
