Improving the flow of information between unions and media and promoting greater freedom of the press and more accurate, diverse, and socially relevant media in the Arab world by conducting an assessment to identify the needs and challenges facing union media in the Arab World and conducting a five-day Arab union media strategy and skills program for communication officials from the national union federations of Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Tunisia, and Yemen
