The year 2024 marks the 300th anniversary of the birth of Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Pyragy, whose writings called for unity at a time of heightened tribal division.
This project includes the conservation of ten hand-copied manuscripts of Magtymguly's poetry, a conservation workshop, educational programs for students, speaker series at American Corners in Turkmenistan, and a print publication.
