Preservation of the Ancient Berber Village of Douiret

The ancient ksar (fortified settlement) of Douiret is a significant site known for its troglodyte homes and strategic location on a trans-Saharan trade route.

This project aims to stabilize the architecture, improve site access, and engage local communities to promote and preserve this cultural heritage.

Activities include structural conservation, path upgrades, training local craftsmen, and hosting public outreach events such as open-site days and heritage hikes.
