The cultural heritage structures in the High Atlas region, including agricultural terraces, irrigation basins, nomadic shelters, springs, and water mills, are vital for sustaining local agricultural livelihoods and preserving traditional practices.
This project aims to rebuild and restore these structures, create a digital archive, and enhance community engagement to ensure their long-term preservation and functionality.
Activities include inventorying and documenting the structures, conducting physical restoration, training local practitioners, and developing educational materials and a dedicated website for public outreach.
