Grant Description

The Skopje Aqueduct, a unique and historically important monument, is a protected cultural heritage site of the highest rank in North Macedonia.

The project aims to preserve the Aqueduct from decay, promote it as a major tourist attraction, and enhance its surroundings to create a new cultural and recreational destination.

Activities include engaging expert conservationists for restoration, leveling the field for stability and accessibility, creating digital promotional materials, organizing school visits, and establishing a National Aqueduct Day.
