To support the preservation of the collection of ethnographic objects of Niani, the capital of the Muslim Mandingo empire from the 13th to the 15th century, in the National Museum of Guinea in Conakry.
The 4,000 objects in the collection lack an appropriate storage environment, and the exhibition space is in a poor state due to water, insect, and environmental damage. This project involves the cleaning and consolidation of artifacts and repairs to the building and exhibition spaces.
