Grant Description

To support the conservation of more than 900 archeological artifacts from the Royal Tombs of Sipan in Lambayeque.

One of the most important pre-Columbian sites in Peru, the Royal Tombs of Sipan have had a major impact on the field of pre-Columbian archaeology and the study of Mochica culture.

The project includes the documentation and conservation of artifacts and improvements to the display environment within the Sipan site museum.
