Grant Description

Duquesne Beach contains some of the largest Amerindian Petroglyph drawings (1000 AD) found on the Islands of Grenada.

The project will preserve and maintain the petroglyphs, while interpreting the historical and cultural information in Duquesne Bay and adjacent sites for the benefit of the local community and visitors. A management plan for the site will be developed as part of the project.
