To enable a rescue archaeological excavation of a cemetery at Don Noi in order to salvage scientific information, preserve heritage, and train young archaeologists. Graves in this Iron Age (circa 100 A.D.) site contain glass beads, bronze, iron implements and ceramic vases. Don Noi ancinet site may be one of the most important in understanding the rise of the Angkorian state.
The site is under threat of destruction through looting.
