Grant Description

To support the preservation of the ruins of Quitoloma by consolidating structures and conducting workshops with tour operators and the local community leaders who will manage the visitors to the site.

Two main structures in the ancient Inca site of Quitoloma, the Main Gate and Central Platform require immediate restoration, followed by a central group of Inca residential structures.

Development is encroaching upon the Pambamarca region and the archaeological sites are a ready source of stone building blocks.
