Grant Description

To support the creation of a rock art management plan for Kenya. Rock art sites in Kenya date as far back as 4,000-years. It is urgent to protect sites from vandalism and looting.

Funds will provide access for responsible tourism at three popular sites and help ensure long-term preservation through community-based management.
