Grant Description

Funds are for the preservation of the Siq al-Mudhlim, a Nabataean era (1st to 6th centuries) water tunnel and dam carved out of mountain rock and located in a popular hiking and nature area near the Jordanian Dead Sea. The project includes the clearing of debris and stabilization of the Siqs tunnel bed.
