Grant Description

To support the preservation of rare Arabic books and manuscripts dating from the 16th century that require immediate treatment. The documents were hidden during the civil war and remained in an uncontrolled environment until the late 1990 s. The project will conserve the documents, complete the inventory, and begin to digitize the collection.
