Grant Description

Funding is provided to support heritage development at the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site. The investigation of three archaeological sites will produce important archaeological and human fossil remains. Their development is critical to the overall scientific study of the area.

Requested funds will also help upgrade existing research facilities at the sites and add a number of small but vital infrastructure improvements to help protect the sites from the effects of increased tourism.
