Grant Description

Funds were transferred under an interagency agreement to the U.S.

National Park Service to provide support for the DOS-sponsored Iraqi Institute for the Conservation of Antiquities and Heritage in Erbil, Iraq.

NPS contributions to the Erbil project involved planning, administration, curriculum development and consultation, and advice on appropriate experts and faculty to implement the curriculum in the areas of historic and archaeological preservation. (FY 2009, $88,212).
