Grant Description

To enable the assessment and documentation of over 1500 historic sites across the country.

Since the war ended in 1997, the Ministry of Culture has not been able to assess the condition of the sites which include historic buildings, religious and archaeological sites.

Some communities have begun restoration projects, but do not have the proper education in professional preservation techniques.
