Grant Description

To support the conservation of the Gor Khuttree Complex, particularly the architecture dating from the Mughal period, in the 16th century, and additionis from the Sikh (mid 19th century) and British (late 19th to 20th century) periods.

Excavations have been taking place on site to determine the origin of Peshawar which was possibly prior to the 3rd century BC. The site is located in the center of Peshawar's old city.
