Grant Description

To improve conservation of the museums diverse collection of pre-Columbian textiles, early stone works, and ceremonial ceramic vases that range in age from 500 to 10,000-years old. The collection has grown rapidly, and the museum urgently needs to improve the conservation environment.

This project provides climate controls, new storage cases, conservation materials, and electronic scales for use in registering and monitoring acquisitions.
