"Archaeological Excavations of the Early-Christian Basilica and Medieval Necropolis in Liatani

To support the excavation and research of the 5th century Basilica, the conservation of a baptismal font, and the research of a medieval necropolis in Liatani, continuing the project from the previous year.

The site illustrates historic continuity through several periods beginning with the Roman era, through the Carolingian in the 10th century. The graves date from the 10th to the 14th century containing jewelry and tools.
