Grant Description

On January 30, 2013 the Government of China granted the International Organization for Migration (IOM) US$200,000 to provide emergency humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon. he aid was intended to respond to civil unrest in Syria and contributed to the IOM's 2013 Regional Refugee Response Plan (RRP) for Jordan (UN project code SRRP-13/MS/58134/R). 3RP requested USD$2.98bn for the implementation of its plan, but only USD$2.18bn was raised by member states in 2016.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) reported that China's contribution has been paid. This project is captured by UNOCHA flow #101987.
