Grant Description

Before 2007, CNPC AktobeMunaiGas (CNPC AMG), a Kazakhstan-based subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation, signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation with the Akimat of Aktobe region to donate personal computers to secondary schools in the Aktobe Region. CNPC AMG annually provided the computers to the schools.

As of May 2007, CNPC AMG had donated 400 computers. The amount of donated computers later increased to 500.
